I believe education should go beyond the classroom and provide tools for self-knowledge. Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist who founded analytic psychology, believed that a person's education is not completed when he leaves school and therefore there should be continuation schools for adults that teach life skills to avoid ill-advised marriages and professional disappointments.
In line with Jung's theory, I believe we should not only attain self-knowledge through learning from our own and others’ experiences, critical reflection on the self, reading, and through being open to others critiquing ourselves, but we also should provide ourselves self-knowledge through educating the self on love. I've created a continuation school class because if people are equipped with the psychological tools to back their romantic relationships, they have a better chance at having a long and successful relationship where, in the United States, the divorce rate fluctuates from 40-55%, and recorded marriage infidelity rate reaches as high as 40%.
We should pay careful attention to whom we choose and invest in emotionally for neurobiology asserts that all relationships, especially traumatizing or enlightening romantic relationships, alter the brain's circuits that shape memories, emotions and the other parts of the self. Scientific studies of longevity, medical and mental health, happiness and even wisdom point to supportive and self-identity expanding relationships as the most important predictor of these positive qualities in our lives.
Through the lens of renowned love theorists, I attempt to answer the question: ‘What is Western traditional ideal romantic love?’ According to Ty's book, The Science Of Happily Ever After, "Only 3 in 10 marriages remain in healthy, happy marriages." What psychological toolbox should we be armed with before choosing a compatible partner and what are the ingredients behind making a relationship work for the long-term?
My YouTube course will provide foundational knowledge to help you: genuinely know what you want and need in a partner to feel emotionally satisfied, predict how they will behave, and possess romantic competence.
See you there, friends of love!

Now there are many life, spiritual, dating and relationship coaches online but they do not always provide the basic scientific and psychological knowledge needed to assess a potential partner based on your own needs for compatibility or to understand the interconnected web of chemicals at play in your brain while in love so that you know there isn’t just one soulmate out there for you.
I’m here to inform you about the psychology of love to help you lead a more fulfilling personal and romantic life. Why not have a crash course on a vital life skill? We can learn through our own or others’ experiences but why not short-circuit these often times painful learning experiences and back ourselves with knowledge on the human psyche to navigate these life-altering experiences? The greatest gift we can give someone is time and so now is the time to take the reins of our time investment and invest in the right people for us.
